An essential part of any Artistic learning process is the one on one interaction with a qualified and inspirational instructor. At SoBe Institute of the arts our roster of professional instructors are selected based on several key factors.
- Our Instructors have the necessary skills to clearly communicate their working knowledge of music, Theater, Dance and/or Musical Theater to our students - no matter at what age or level the student.
- Our Instructors are experienced professional artists.
- Our Instructors recognize that teaching is essential for a professional artist to continue to extend their own knowledge and they have a genuine personal interest in the advancement of their students.
Private Lessons are provided in the historic carl fisher clubhouse and little stage theater complex. Lesson plans are organized by the individual instructor with the specific needs of individual student in mind. Lessons are, in general, once a week for 30 mins., 45 mins, or one hour (although in special circumstances more than one lesson a week can be arranged). Lesson times vary slightly, for example acting or music composition/theory lessons tends to last longer by nature than voice or dance lessons which requires more physical exertion.
Once again, our instructors are inspiring teachers as well as excellent performers, and make every effort to make each lesson a creative, enjoyable and rewarding experience.
